Strengths

I had a clear theme for my film. The idea was original, I conveyed the visual side of my pitch well through my mood board as well as establishing what type of film I wanted to film in. I conveyed my character well as well as his personality and state of mind.

What could've been better

Could have established the location better and figured out ways of expanding the narrative into a feature-length film as if I end up making this film the pitch will need to be for a feature-length title

Helpful Feedback

Make sure to pick a suitable location and focus on the lighting in the scenes. Due to the black and white film, I want to use the lighting will be crucial to making it look as effective and authentic as possible

Themes

The themes throughout this film will be of isolation due to the lonely setting, as well as the character, being alone both physically and mentally. The other theme will be the characters slow descent into madness as the tormenting continues

Narrative

I need to expand my narrative into a full feature-length film. This may include adding various sub-plots as well as expanding on the ideas already present.

Visual Style

The film will be in black and white to help convey the genre and expand on the idea of isolation my idea for this was heavily influenced by the 2019 film 'The Lighthouse'

Genre

Psychological thriller and horror torment

Characterization

I need to make my characters more memorable and develop ideas for them, that feed into the narrative
